The Veterans' Aid & Attendance Guide

The Veterans’ Aid & Attendance Guide is our free service to provide veterans with their VA benefits. Through a 5-step process, we guide clients through the transition into in-home care, assisted living or skilled nursing, and through the process of obtaining the Aid & Attendance pension to help pay for those services.

We work with veterans and their families, as well as their doctors, case workers and other professionals, to make this transition as smooth as possible.

The Comprehensive Care Plan

As part of our process, we provide a Comprehensive Care Plan, which allows us to customize our service to the needs of each individual veteran.

The plan proposes next steps based on our understanding of the client’s current health care requirements and eligibility for the Aid & Attendance pension. We want to ensure that each veteran attains the health care he or she needs, without putting personal financial stability at risk.

Faster application approval

You’re provided with a brief questionnaire. Our Veteran Service Officer (VSO) will use this information to complete the formal VA benefits forms in order to obtain pension approval efficiently.

For over 13 years, we’ve been guiding veterans and their families through the steps involved in finding suitable health care services and obtaining the Aid & Attendance pension. Our process is efficient and organized.

Network of resources

Due to our experience in this field, we have acquired an extensive network of case managers, discharge planners, social workers, in-home care professionals, local placement agencies and Veterans Service Officers to help connect our clients with the right resources.
